Jay Patel, PE

With over 30 years of structural engineering experience, Jay is a seasoned professional in the design and delivery of complex building projects across educational, institutional, commercial, and industrial sectors. Licensed as a Professional Engineer in Florida and several East Coast states, he is known for a consistent focus on client service, meticulous documentation, and strategic project direction from concept through completion. Jay performs regular structural site visits and serves as a licensed Threshold Inspector in Florida, ensuring quality and code compliance for critical structural elements. He also contributes to the advancement of structural engineering practices as a voting member of national ACI committees: ACI 380 – Structural Plain Concrete, ACI 360 – Design of Slabs on Ground, and ACI 551 – Tilt-Up Concrete Construction.

Outside of work, Jay enjoys exploring new places and spending weekends with friends and family.
